There are six or seven musky articles, one covering Kincaid,Shellbyville and Vermillion in Illinois, one for each of Clear Fork (Ohio), Leesville(ohio), Hudson and Stanley(MI). Then there is the MMA article(Michigan musky season close at hand) featuring a picture of Indiana fisheries workers holding a Webster Lakes netted fish, and quotes from the 180 member MMA president Will Shultz. Its funny how the guy actually authors the article since he presents only one actual thought or idea "For muskellunge fans.............season opener(dates). The entire remaining article are Will's quotes and thoughts.. Good to see the stand against spearing,great promotion of what the club has and is doing. It would have been nice for him to add some sort of contact information for the club.
The Hudson article headline reads...... Expert dubs Hudson top musky spot.
Will, I have one question on one of your quotes in the MMA article. It states something to the fact that you are staying away from "traditionally good lakes like Burt, Mullet and Black"and that you like Hudson, Thornapple, Ovid, Wixom......Burt , Mullet "traditionally good"?how old are you, they haven't been traditionally good since the 50's :P

Believe it or not those few quotes came out of a 45 minute phone interview. Without the background of the discussion some of those quotes could be taken the wrong way.
The question was:
For someone new to muskie fishing where should they go, lakes like Skegemog, Black, Burt?
The quote used was basically a summary of that part of our conversation. I mentioned how those lakes always get the publicity but aren't the best for someone new to muskie fishing because of their low density.
I just got a couple copies in the mail and I will get the article posted this week.
