sanford lake

Sanford is an impoundment on the Tittabawassee, which is a good sized stream (width) but it doesn't have a huge flow. In Sanford you really only notice the flow if you are way upstream, under the US 10 bridge, or right in front of the spillway. But nowhere does it behave or fish like a river, its a shallow lake with a nice old river channel cut through it.

Re: Sandford
Like we were told at the presentation too, you can only notice the current if you look down at the weeds. They'll be bent over some. My boat is WAY underpowered in the trolling motor department, but even I didn't have any problems there.finlander wrote:It looks like a river on the state map. Is there any current thru it?
