Musky Mania Exo

Post by Esoxonthefly »

Anyone use this yet? I got one for my birthday and had it out for the first time yesterday. This thing weighs 9 oz. but casts and fishes a lot lighter. I would assume that this thing is similar to a Dawg but I don't have any Dawgs so I wouldn't know. I spent most of the time I used it jigging it deep. Haven't been able to find any reviews on this so I figured I'd ask here.

I have a 9oz and a 11oz and have not had much success with them but I haven't really fished them hard. I like the colors that are so different from a Bulldawg and thought it might be something new for the muskies to laugh at.

I called Drifter Tackle and they said to fish it just like a Bull Dawg and that they leave the hooks rigged into the bait and not dangling like a Bull Dawg. On top of the bait is a place to add an additional hook and I added a Siawash hook there and have no idea if that would help or not. If I have any luck on them I will post it and good luck!
