Well,......I expected better from a 1-year old HD trailer tire!!Ill contact
Carlisle tire before I really bad mouth them,but Im not to happy at this point! :x

Yep... back when I had my bass boat Trevor and I would get one of those each year. I think they build the tires for the Tracker boat trailers and I wore out a pair in a year. Then I changed to Goodyear Marathons and I've probably got 60K on them and they're still going strong.

Well,just to be fair it was 2 full seasons on these tires.I guess Ill just get something different and forget pitching a bi**h. I will say this.....
NONE of the 5 places I called recommended Charlisle.Only one even carried them,2 dropped them because of warranty issues.I guess Goodyear doesnt make the smaller trailer tires anymore so the brand name that came up from 3 different trailer places was "Loadstar".
Ill do a little more research on this.

Loadstar is the brand on my trailer form Mid Michigan Sports in Mt Pleasant. The trailer is supposedly 5 years old. Sat on their lot. I wonder about those tires because I have a Carlisle sticker and a phone number on the tongue of the trailer. They are not the same brand. I still didn't feel good when I saw Loadstar's for sale in Meijers'. 2nd season on them. I feel the dealer rand to Meijers and put new ones on before I picked it up. Cant prove it though. They are bias-ply. Did not hear good things about those type. Carlisle had problems with a certain size and year awhile back. I would have to change the fender to accomodate the next size up, jumping to a radial. Right now I just dont travel far with it to change now.

Will is correct, Goodyear Marathons are the way to go. I had a Carlisle blow out four years ago on US 131. It really messed up my trailer fender. The tread came completely off the tire. I looked into some type of satisfaction from Carlisle at that time but everyone was a bit tight lipped, in other words I ate the cost of new tires and trailer repair. I did learn later that there was some type of class action suit against Carlisle at that time. I'm not sure how that turned out.

Ya,I heard something about that "bad run" of tires.I guess GY doesnt make tires as small as I need them.3 trailer places in town here all carry
"load star" and like them.So I go to get a set.The sales guy sais "this is the Load Star 'AMERICONA' series made in the USA".I said really,.....than
why does it say made in Tiawan on the back side?? His reaction...

I dont know guys,I went with Carlisle because they were made in the USA, but had no love with them.Now I got some import tire that may not
be the upgrade I was hopeing for.We will see.????????????

-I did go to the next size taller,a couple inches maybe,but the weight range was no better than the smaller Charlisles.
-And always keep them aired-up no matter who makes them!
