Don't forget...

Post by Will Schultz »

With Saturday the opening day for so many seasons lets make a list of things that would start a trip off on the wrong foot if you didn't have them or didn't check...

- fishing license
- life jackets for everyone on board (and throwable)
- fire extinguisher (check charge)
- boat keys
- gas/oil in boat
- batteries charged
- trailer tire air pressure checked and bearings greased

What else?

Make sure the towing vehicle is ready to go as well. Can't go fishing if the boat can't be moved from the garage.

First Aid kit is a must... if you are accident prone like myself, and some Tylenol for the aches that arrive after 10+ hours of casting.
