I will be on the water at 12:01 the day of the opening! Can't wait for next weekend. My place is on the penisula as well.
Getting there early friday to open everything up and relax so we can get on the water at night

do you know the converse's? and the one they live on they are the only house on the peninsula, unless your talking about a different spot.

Not to sure, do you mean at the very north end of the island? Is that the house you are talking about. Well if you are there this weekend we will be out night fishing early saturday. I have an older yellow colored boat with a mercury

yea ill be out there, their house is the long brick house at the north end ya, i guess its tough for some people to tell its a peninsula, because there is a little channel behind their house that you can't see. so the house is surrounded on both sides by water. Should be a warm wkend to be out there.

Action was really slow all weekend and when the cold front came on saturday with rain no one said they saw any fish as well. The water temp was around 50 to 54 degrees

nope, anyone that talked to us said everyone they talked to didn't see a fish.

I was gonna fish this morning, but said forget it, wind wasn't going to die down much and the water is still extremely cold

Water under 50 degrees

Post by SUDLABNIVEK »

Yesterday morning we had two follows but no takers on the figure 8's, that water takes so long to warm up being a spring feed lake, couldnt find any spots of the lake with water over 50 degrees. We will see in a couple of weeks.

I have not been there yet. From what I heard the pond weed is up and there is a snag near the ski course. Be advised. Mike
