Fishing has been good for gills and specks in shallow water 12' and under.Tip ups are going in 6' to 9' pike have been active last week, even catching small ones on tear drops. BUT… the ice is no longer safe around G.R. yesterday was the last day I would fish on it. All the snow is off the ice so it should refreeze quickly when it cools back down.

no freezing temps this week tom…….day or night!!Daytime temps 35-40.GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR………wish for once we would get a typical winter……….freeze and stay frozen..!!!!! New years at the cabin in coldwater was always a crap shoot too.GRRRRRRRRRR
