Water temps 76-78

Spent the day fishing weed beds and deep areas. Seeing fish in newer areas as I expand out of my usual favorite areas. This year Austin has more areas of developed weed bed areas and the water is more stained. Possibly due to the bubblers not in service anymore?

Saw 3 fish, and for the second time out in a row, I actually had a <30" fish go 3 rounds in a figure 8. Previous fish that circled was a much larger fish but of the 1000's of hours fished this lake, these are the first 2 fish actually chasing lures at the boat. 1 chasing in from the bottom (I was using that small Moski Teardrop) in 7-9fow, the other from a weed bed edge using Wil Carpenters glide. No hooks but it was fun to be out. Nice to be out fishing more this year!
