Fished 0730am-1230pm, clarity decent for Thorn, surface temp 70, weeds topping out well to define things, levels only somewhat high, very fishable. Got a good humbling which didn't surprise me in the bluebird cool front conditions, but wanted to report here that the lake looked good. Saw just one low 30s muskie.
Also had been out of the game for 3 weeks with a truck transmission problem and wanted to tow right after the repair. Seems good to go, 15 years on the trusty Tacoma with just a couple fixes along the way, no reason I can't get 20-25 years out of it. Got the canoe out a couple times using the wife's car and didn't try for muskie. Decided to actually catch something and fished for pike and bass.
