Took a short trip (0730-0930) in the kayak to mostly see how tough it would be to cast my fly rod in. I would say I had about two feet of water clarity where I fished. Weeds were sparse where I could see them. I was thinking with the weather and overcast skies I might luck out but that was not the case. I fished the point and west side of the lake mostly and hit the middle before I called it a day. I threw black and firetiger Devil's Ticklers and a brown/orange articulated Buford. Casting was interesting and figure 8s were hard.
