Fished: 11:30-4:30
Temp: 53-54
Weeds: Chara out to 12', good pondweed in other places
Clarity: Brown tint, but pretty clear at ~8'

Fished with my oldest brother and his two boys for the first hour or so. Trolled a little bit with $treetwalkers and Extreme Walking Shads. Focused on the deeper weed edge while looking for bait. Didn't have any rips, but found some good bait pods and then casted those areas later. After trolling we had the boys try their hand at casting. Both of them picked it up pretty well and were able to cast a regular dawg probably 15 yards or so. After they left I threw pounders, husky dussas, big gliders, and Esox Pursuit baits. I missed one at 2:40pm on a pounder and that was it for the day.

Thanks for the report Jason. I'm going to Campau either tomorrow or Thursday. Even a "no fish" report is still helpful

Fished on 10-22 from 10a-3:30p. Water temps 50. Lots of bait on the east shore in 12-15' where muskies caught in the past. However, none today. The only thing caught was an unusual "lure" with 100' of line attached. It looked like a 6" wire spring with a hook soldered on the bottom. Oh, and I forgot to add the 1/2" bluegill that got impaled on a crankbait.
