IGFA rules. It's all how they're measured. Have to measure at the crook in the tail. Not the tip. Also, have to have all these pics proving where you measured from, and on an official IGFA measuring device. Many people just don't go through the hassle of following all the rules.

Those Larry fish were released, thus a different record than the kept fish.
