My friends dad got an email from a guy he works with. Apparently a lot of people that fish there think there is nothing in the lake from what the email said. This guy estimates it at 8.5 lbs and 24 inches.. but i say bs.. more like 22 and 5lbs, still a nice fish

That's a chunk of a LM. Never seen any in there, really. Nice colors on it.

Murray definitely has some monster bass in it. Used to fish it a lot for bass before I got hooked on muskies and did really well. My dad's PB bass is out of there at 23" or so and I've caught some nice ones while musky fishing over the years too.

I caught a 20" LM on Ovid last weekend on a double-10 cowgirl. 😯 Didn't weigh it, but I'd say it was 4.5# or so.

Never thought I'd be disappointed catching a bass like that. 🙄

My cousin and i use to do really well, every year he would catch multiple fish over 20 inches, but it definitely changed with the muskies. I think the muskies have moved a lot of the bigger bass to deeper water in the summer.
