45" caught topwater 10 minutes after the 40". She came out of water striking but missing the bait and 3 seconds later she turned and hammered it! It was really difficult to fish by myself and trying to net these fiesty fish. The first one took me 3 times before I could net her. Once both were in the net, the baits literally fell out. Boy, I feel lucky! Both were caught on a black loon colored doc. What a great morning!!
It looks like I'm a little off on the time. First pic was 653am and 2nd pic was 710am so I was a little off but it felt within a very short period of time. Not too mention, the sun was rising on the east and if you really pay attention it get's light faster than you think. On the water looking one way it's bright, the other way it's dark. I was also texting Chad in between fish so close enough if you count actual fishing time.
No, Jim I wasnt trying to be rude. I think part of it was my camera settings. My hands were full of slime and maybe I hit a different setting. It really was within a 10-20 min timeframe. After my first catch I was so excited I ended up texting Chad to give him details, sorted out my line, checked leader and then threw it out and shortly the 45" hit. I myself was stunned at the difference in pics b/c I knew they were close together catches but there's also been times where I couldnt believe how fast the sky went from dark to bright. This all happened right about the time the sun came up and on LSC you can see it rise right on the horizon. These fish were caught right in Anchor Bay.
The reason for the diff. in the pics was that the top one had the camera flash lighting up the subject, and the second one did not. Had the flash not gone off on the first, it would have shown a more realistice light level.
Regardless; way to go buddy… We were just talking about those multiple fish days… Now you accomplished that goal… Keep at it Scott.

Yes, now that you mention that, I do have some pics where on the same fish, the flash was used for one, but not the other. It looks way different.
And, yes, Scott. Great job on the 2 fish day. I haven't had my multiple day yet this year. Didn't happen until my birthday (9/24) last year, so I guess my time might be approaching.
