I was lucky enough to get to go out on the great LSC for the second time with Mike and Michelle. I can't say enough about those two. Truly awesome people!
For those of you who don't yet know me, I will introduce myself to you. I have fished for many years, at least as long as I could walk. I am 36 and for the last 15 years I have been mostly a bass fisherman. The last couple of years I caught the musky bug. One night while on the computer I came across MMA. I thought that by joining I could shorten the learning curve a little bit. Great choice! After joining MMA I became fascinated at the passion the members had for the well being of these fish. I thought I was conservation minded with my catch and release practices while bass fishing. MMA takes it to the next level. I now find some of that instilled in me. My buddies were mad when I told them that they could not keep and kill their trophy musky while in my boat if they ever catch one. They got over it since they realized that if they didn't go musky fishing with me, they wouldn't be going musky fishing!
Enough about me. Now I will tell you about my experience with the King's. I have been very fortunate to meet these two. It all happened because work took me to that side of the state a few months ago. During downtime I was trying to find a fix for my increasing addiction. (musky lures) I tried Al & Bobs, Gander Mountain, and Dicks sporting goods. Same stuff as I see over here. After further investigation, I find Fish-all lures. I shoot an e-mail. I guess because of my screen name, Mike replies " Howdy, come on over and we'll show ya what we have". It was only 30 minutes away. I spent 3 hours there and Mike walked me through the whole lure making process and gave me musky 101. He talked my ear off but I listened to every word hoping to absorb half of what he was telling me. Finally, that led to us hooking up and me being able to join them out on the big lake. After the first time out with them I was able to run my own planer boards and have some action on a tough lake. Their lures are good stuff as well. While with them on both trips, they ran everything. Bucktails- they ran Spanky's, Cowgirls, Shumways, Dominatrix. What caught the fish? Yep, a fish-all, talonz, whatever the heck they call it now. Bodybaits were the same. We ran everything. Fish were caught on slashers. Mike, you can correct me, but that is all I remember fish being caught on. I am in no way trying to advertise for them. I am simply just stating facts. They make good stuff! As far as the experience with them, both times were fun, exiting, and we caught fish.
Now you have a face to attatch to the wrangler. This pic is my PB which was caught while with them. Not huge, but it is a trophy to me. 42. Thanks to you both. Oh yeah, Mike, how is your arm doing? That was wild! Good thing to have a nurse on board. Thanks guys, Rick

We did catch your fish on a Talonz Bucktail 😀 But yes we catch a lot of fish on Slashers my personal best came on one this year. Shelly got hers on a Spanky Bucktail.

You have to love those spotted Muskies. There have been some real good looking fish caught this year and that 42 was one of them. My arm is fine ,much better than we thought it would end up but Im going to cast Sunday . That had to be a little brutal for you to witness and thanks for the great job cutting the hook. Dont ever try that (not using the net) . I had to promise my wife that I would use the net from now on. Even on little snots like that 33. That is what happens when you think you know it all ha ha ha . A little snot rocket hangs a hook in your arm. Anyway you got see first hand how not to handle a fish ha ha ha .

There is a much bigger fish just waiting for your next adventure. If we can get the right weather on a day when we can fish it will happen. Once the first 50 comes they seem to keep right on coming. I cant wait until fall when the big girls get fat. Miss piggy with fins lol. Any way you are helping us as much as we are helping you. So thank you Rick. Mike and Michelle
