Finally slimed the new boat, and did it twice! I'm exceptionally happy it didn't take till december this year to get some…

Love the looks of those northern spots. Its crazy how different they look in the upper chain compared to the Elk/Torch chain fish. That dark water really darkens those spots.

Well I got another type of Esox today… this one is Essox! He is a 6lb 12 oz-er and 18.5 inches long. he was only 4 weeks early and threw a huge monkey wrench into all of our plans… but as are kids… they work on their own time! He's in the NICU for today and tonight getting help breathing, but hopefully off tomorrow.

The last picture.. Priceless man. I love my baby girl so much already it scares me for when she gets older.. And the kids fishing.. Even better. I'll take kids fishing any day just to see the joy on their faces. And I personally love to go ultra light gear so when a decent one comes along it strips drag, there isn't a better sound in the world than a fish stripping drag!

The 43" from today. She wasn't about to stay still enough for a decent pic, so I got the net shot.

I have one… somewhere 🙄 I actually looked for about 20 minutes trying to find the dang thing, and all I could find was the tripod. I think what I really need is to get my kids something else to play with!
