Thought this would be a fun topic. Those photos that come with a story that seems to change every year or two but they keep circulating via e-mail or on forums.

Where the pike were caught seems to change with each version. It may cause you to do a double take because the title of the e-mail is usually pike with two bodies or siamese pike. What you're really seeing is one pike under the gill plate of another.

How about a polar bear attacking a salmon being caught? I've got this in an e-mail many times… it's not a polar bear, it's a sea lion.

This may be the #1. I've heard this happened in Muskegon Lake, Great Slave Lake, Lake of the Woods, etc., etc.

After a couple years this photo started being included as the bigger pike of the two above. It's not…

That pic of that Pike eating the smaller one i saw wayyyyy back when it first surfaced years ago.. it was in a photo album as the original photo from this camp at the all canada show in chicago.. Had the original date stuff etc.. on it so i believe that is where it originally came from then found its way all over the internet as well as other camps putting that pic on their website..

The big pike under that is Euro somewhere isn't it?

hahaha, my friend just showed me the 'siamese' pike last week as he searched 'river monsters' in google and that came up.

Man, I would've guessed 55+" & 55+lbs. That must be one short dutchman!

Here's one that was sent to me. A Catfish apparently tried swallowing a basketball. A guy saw the ball bobbing around, and tried to help out the fish. He finally had to cut the ball to deflate it.
