Is that the 51 1/4"er you caught 3 times in Canada? On the same lure? On the same rocks? At the same depth?  Has Muskies 1st fixed that yet?

BTW, that is a terrific looking fish. Congrats!

Yea it was fixed today. You would think that they process would be a litlle easier.

My biggest musky ever, was caught in LOTW, Whitefish Bay. Probably the toughest conditions we have fished in ever while fishing there. Lots of high winds, fronts going through about every couple of days. Fewest musky(s) I have seen in last 10 years. Seems like turnover took place while we were there.
The young fellow who guides a couple times each year suggested reef areas near deep water in conjunction being near a bay. We didn't see many fish in these areas mainly smaller muskies. We then kept moving farther and deeper off of structure. We both were a little tired from casting, so I told my wife we would try trolling that afternoon. We trolled a large reef/island structure for about 10 mins. and caught a descent sized northern. I was running a Terminator body bait on one downrigger and a purple/silver Double Cowgirl on the other. The musky hit about 20 mins later on the Double Girl which was 9 feet down over 25/26 feet of water at 3.4 MPH. The musky stayed down and actually ran towards my boat. I was able to get it along side and hand land it. My wife took a quick picture, we measured her, hooks came out with no problem. I put her in the water my wife ran the bow mounted trolling motor and she swam away pretty quickly.

Nice fish, looks tasty! There's not too much I like eating more than walleye.

We usually don't get too many walleye, caught both of those one windy day between a couple of islands and neckdown areas. We caught another nice fish on a Burt while trolling for musky.
