Got my boat back(3 weeks) and took it for a test run to Campau. Took my youngest daughter Lauren with me. Got there around 8:30pm. Ran the boat around for a bit,.. seemed o.k., then decided to cast until dark. Nothing happening but that was o.k. because I was working with Lauren on casting and stuff. Grabbed the trolling gear and made a few laps around the lake. Got a nice rip. I grabbed the rod and handed it to Lauren. She was a bit freaked out but managed to put a 43.75" in the net!! Not bad for her first ski!!
Surface was 77* if I remember right, a little scummy and tore up from the pleasure boats. Traffic wasn't that bad, but remember we didn't even get there til 8:30pm. Boat ran good and I didn't find any water in the lower unit oil today when I checked it. What a great night!!

PS- fish ate on a Badd Brad's tear drop minnow. This lure has put a couple dandies in my boat over the last few seasons.
