Water temp: 43-46
Water clarity/color: Stained
Weed growth: Very little weeds

I went out with guide, Mike Hulbert, and he ended up landing a 36" musky and I had (2) follows to the boat but no hits. He had me throwing a small 5" white bucktail and he threw a Rapala Xrap (see link below). I also threw some crane baits,1 oz rattletraps and large chatterbaits.

The DNR was there in the morning and checking nets that they had put out and they were looking for Muskies loaded up with eggs. They said the Muskies were starting to spawn and they were taking the eggs out of the ones they netted. It was just great to be out on the water.

This is the bait that Mike caught a 36"-37" musky on and the color was glass ghost and he worked it painfully slow.
