Got out on the water today after the long drive up to Eagle Lake…got a few small pike and i got my personal best, a 49"er on a weagle. Jay also had a nice ski blow u on a weagle later but it didn't get on the lure. we'll let you know how the rest of the week goes. jay will get the pic up later.

didn't catch any on monday….had two nice big blow ups on weagles again but couldn't get them on the hook. tuesday morning dad started it off again with a nice forty four incher on a bucktail. we got storms coming in tonight, so we're going to sit out for a while and try to get out a little later. we'll get dad's 44 up later.

lureless, bob is on the trip but hasn't caught a muskie yet. he's been catching some pike, walleye, and bass but we're trying to get him hooked into a muskie or two. he'll get some in the next couple days.
we got one more tonight…i got a 43" that hit a bucktail on the figure eight. the strike took place right in front of bob and jay. they both screamed when the fish hammered it. we saw two fish that were huge, one jay predicted to be 45 lbs, just an absolute tank. that puts our total for the week at 6….41, 42, 43, 44, 47, 49.
edalz, herbie mentioned that you've been emailing him a lot. he can't wait to meet you.
pics of the 43 and 44 will be up tomorrow.

I think I may be driving him crazy with questions and I just can not wait to get up there and he says you guys are a bunch of fun and it sounds like you are having a great time….have fun!

been off the water for a little while….jon(oldest brother) got a 49"er today, his first on eagle and his pb. jay lost a 45" that hit a weagle and was on for twenty seconds or so. i had a big blow up on a weagle but it didn't get the lure. brings our total up to seven for the week, all over 40. jay has the pics up on my computer but the internet was going in and out when he was trying to post them, so he'll get them up as soon as he can.
got a match tomorrow against the reigning champs…hopefully we can tie into a biggun.
