Went down to Tony Grant's place and ended up fishing with a guide named Scott Salchli because Tony hit a log with his boat the day before. The lake was up 7' and very muddy. The first day with the guide started well when I caught a 5lb largemouth on a 6" Crane bait about 3' from shore but then it got worse. About 50 miles away there were Tornado warnings and 80-100 mph winds and we got blown off the lake.

Bottom line was no muskies to be seen and we threw rattletraps, squirkos, hellhounds and your normal Spring arsenal to no avail. They do fish all year there and I may try them again in March when I have cabin fever real bad and the costs are fairly low.
