Lake had about 4-5 foot of visibility. water in the mid to lower 70s. Only found one weed patch in the whole lake near the south. School of bait in the main basin, and looked like walleye anglers on the north shore after sunrise.

Tried to jig the bait and cast the weeds for a while with 0 contacts.

Left the lake after a lack of weeds and 4-5 hours of fishing. Later a local told me about a weed kill off on that lake from a few years ago that really hurt the lake, and has not been the same since. Hopefully it was only a bad day of fishing and the lake did not have a bad fish kill.
