Fished all day Saturday in bright skies and very light winds. Water started at 76 and warmed to 80 by evening. Not a lot going on, but at about 3:00 I found a nice 45-46 incher in 16’ on a dawg. Heavy hit and I thought I was in business but it started running towards me right away and I wondered if had pike sideways or something. Suddenly she erupted from water 20 yards from the boat to erase all doubt, and to make my weekend.

Could only fish a few hours Sunday morning but went home happy. Also caught a few small pike, 1 walleye, and had a 20” muskie follow
