Concentrated mostly on deep cabbage

No Muskies boated but….
I had a mid 30 incher go after Jake Vyverman's custom hybrid swim bait he made for me. My buddy had a real nice 30-35 lbs fish go after his swimming dog….twice. It was definitely a hot fish. It swiped right at the boat. He immediately casted back, then the upredictable happened. The fish ate, ( we assume the same fish) he set the hook, then nothing. His Stringease Stay- Lok snap had completely opened up. He either didn't have it snapped properly or the fish dislodged it. IDK but it was a heartbreaker. I run split rings on some stuff and stay- loks on others…..thinking of going strictly to rings.
