Ended the weekend working with my brother in law fishing Clam.
Conditions seemed good, save fore 35+mph gusts.
Temps were 52.7-53 from one end to the other.
Weed growth virtually non existent, but some new stuff popping in the 3-8 ft range.
Visibility very high considering the amount of rain and wind.
We trolled the main part of the lake, looking for any signs of life, only to be disappointed, so we headed to the east end of the lake.
Casted for a while, trying everything from deep water to shallow, and did find some life off the edges of weed growth. Had one lazy active fish of some type show up on the side imaging when casting out toward open water about a dozen time… trolled it and threw everything in the boat to no avail. Ended the day with one 36-38" northern to our names.
