WT: 39-42 on Skegemog, 46 on Hanley, 43 on Intermediate

Fished Skeg from sun up til about 130pm. Calm beautiful morning on the water. Weed growth has not begun yet and the water was much colder than I anticipated. Esox were not active but the bass were. Caught a couple tanker MA caliber smallies on a dive and rise bait, but that was the only action I had.

Headed north after lunch and fished Hanley for a few hours in the afternoon and then finished the night on Intermediate. Hanley had some weed growth starting but nothing yet on Intermediate. I did find a nice congregation of bait on the north end of Intermediate in 20 FOW. Hooked my first muskie of the season. a heavy fish in the 38" range, that ate away from the boat but unfortunately she came unpinned right as I was reaching for the net. Sad to lose one but it felt good finally making contact with one after 30+ fishless hours on the water so far this spring…
