Fished Cooke Pond on Friday for about 6 hours in the morning and then hit it again for about 3 hours that evening. Conditions were great with storm systems moving through throughout the day. Water temp was 78-80. Threw blades, rubber, topwater, spinnerbaits, cranks, and glides but couldn’t manage even a follow. Did catch a handful of small pike. Fished near the island in about 10-15 fow with great looking cabbage. There are a ton of small pike in that lake which I’m sure doesn’t help the muskies but I’m hopeful I’ll get one this year. I took a buddy there a few weeks ago and we managed a 37” pike which was the biggest pike I’ve seen/heard get caught from that lake.
