We saw the KTD signs on the Upper antrim chain this week, and my brothers were both impressed at how active this club is with that kind of thing. We stopped at just about every launch in there at one time or another. They both said they could see spending $35 for membership to a group that is actually doing something, as opposed to just paying to use a forum. So thanks all for you work on that one. Since the Ovid ramp is being re-done right now, they have uprooted the sign we used to have our KTD sign mounted on, and it was sitting off to the side on the ground. I have removed the KTD sign for now to keep it from being ruined, and will re-post it when there's something to attach it to again.
Yesterday, I spoke to Park Superintendant Tim who told me they were going to install some new sign kiosks at Ovid's renovated launch when I asked where he'd like me to repost our KTD sign. He asked me to leave the sign with him, and he'd find a good spot for it ASAP, which I did.

Good news:
The KTD sign has been posted at the launch at Ovid for about a month now, mounted right on the launch's lamp post so that it can be read 24/7, and that's right next to the kiosk with park permits and maps in it, too. I've already observed quite a few people reading it.
Bad news:
The KTD sign which I put on the fishing pier at the campground is missing…

I've almost always got one or two in the car. Remind me next time you see me.

Hey guys I know there are signs at Sanford and Budd lakes but are there any at Wixom and Ross. I'm sure there are I just haven't seen them.
That reminds me, I did not see a sign at Smallwood last weekend. I used the access at the wooden shoe bar. Its not a DNR access tho so if you wanted to put up a sign there you would probably have to ask the bar for permission.
The wind over the weekend made any of the bigger lakes in Antrim pretty much unfishable with my little boat so I hit Ellsworth one of the days. I couldnt find a KTD sign anywhere by the access at the park on the northwestern side of the lake.
I am up that area frequently all season so I could try to get one put up or someone could get it taken care of the weekend of the Ellsworth outing in June.

Didn't see the one at Hudson the last time I was down there. Is there any way the DNR could be put up so they don't get removed or a warning from them if removed they would be fined. It's got to be getting costly for MMA to keep putting these signs up. 👿
Which makes me think it might just be a waste of time to put any signs up at Belleville. Without them being "vandal proofed", they'd be gone in no time…

They can be idiot proofed a little…
When bolting to a post use longer than needed and bend the bolt after installing the nut. If they're screwed into a wood post, install with phillips head screws and a washer and then drill out the screw head.
