It's that time again!

What do you want to see at the banquet?
New lures?
Old lures?
Custom painted lures?
Reels?
Rods?
Trips?
Other items?

Speak up, I want you spending your tax return at the MMA banquet and not at the Chicago Show!

Also, if you have some kind of inside track on any merchandise let me know. It doesn't have to be muskie related either.

From my perspective, the trips weren't such a big hit last year. Some nice trips went for super cheap, however. I guess if lodges are willing to donate them, we'll take them. One item we were missing last year was a net. I'm willing to bet there are a lot of people out there who don't have a nice muskie net. I'll be sure to get one of my new & improved bump-boards there if there is a demand for it. Also, maybe something like rain-gear, or winter gear? The fancy stuff like Will & JasonVK wears. Maybe a misc. box of hooks, leaders, split rings, etc.?

Yeah, I don't think there were any Bulldawgs at the last one. Super D's, but no Dawgs. Maybe if we could get Brad to do some custom colors? [smilie=brows.gif]

Maybe I'll bring some of my books I've wrote, one I am currently writing called "To Stupid to Quit Musky Fishing", no seriously maybe some nice globes, and some Musky Safari stuff like the water moccasin and some of those huge blades. And maybe some newer dvd's, never been to the banquet so I am looking forward to it.

Something to consider, kinda' like guide for a day, might be a "kit" of some highly recommended lures and a marked map for certain favorite lakes. For example there could be a Murray package, an Ovid, a Sanford, a Thorn… Certain members with lots of lake knowledge would suggest the baits and mark the map, and the "kit" would be auctioned off at the banquet. It might be popular and bring in some serious coin, and really help out whoever wins each kit.

I like this idea and maybe mark the map by water temperature and what baits to throw and where to throw them.

Maps with details are great and maybe GPS locations by season of different lakes including Lake St. Clair.

I would like to see lots of custom baits, guide trips and maybe a small handbook called Musky 101 that covers some basics of musky fishing for beginners.

Really good idea Joe! This would take a little work to assemble, it it could be a fun little project, and I bet it would fetch big $$$

We have those every year… I don't think most people put them on when they walk in the door. Maybe this year we'll put them on the tables.
