Hunter and I arrived at the launch at 630am. Saw Ron and Greg
and that was it. I believe they left for another lake around 9am or so.
Got back to the launch at 1230, Scotts wife was there with subs, pops and other snacks… NO ONE else was there 😕

Had a great morning with Hunter, I rigged up my bass rod with sinkos
for him and he matched me cast for cast all morning. and was pretty upset when we pulled the boat out and quit fishing….(gotta love that)…..Not bad for a 8yr old..

Even the intermediate outing which is a place dear to me……..is the same 10-12 people each year……
We are going up next year for about a full week…..Already know the mesick boys and I`m taking another two guys for that trip next year.So I`m already planning on staying with the group and we can cookout etc…a couple nights…
I don`t think these(advertised)outings are necessary as you can hang with who you want to hang with.I will probably put up a poll post on outings.Next year we will hangout together with folks in the eve or morns,but I don`t see any reason to put up a MMA sign,have people meet at a timed lunch(which interupts fishing time),etc…
Not dissin you KK or PIMP you are great dudes and have enjoyed your lunches each year.Probably won`t make it to the pavillion next year…Doesn`t mean you shouldn`t do it…..IMHO..don`t feel it`s necessary.
Maybe breakfast some EARLY EARLY morning up there..

I totally agree with you that lunch cuts into fishing time, not to mention makes me sleepy, maybe we could do a cookout afterwards or something.
I like having the camaraderie and don't want to turn it into a "show up, then leave" day on the water.
