WI – Barbless hooks, baiting on hearings agenda

Muskie anglers are being asked if they favor opening waters north of U.S. 10 to muskie fishing the first Saturday in May (as is the case in waters south of U.S. 10.)

If not in favor, anglers are asked if they support a catch-and-release muskie fishing season north of U.S. 10 from the first Saturday in May to the opening of the muskie fishing season on the Saturday preceding Memorial Day.

The catch-and-release season would be restricted to barbless hooks.
