that it is illegal to hunt a deer with a 22 cal., but anglers are still allowed to use insufficient tools with muskies? I'm not a deer hunter, but it's my understanding that you can't use a 22 because it is too small of a rifle for a deer, and all you would do is cause the animal to suffer from the wound. Yet it's still ok for anglers to use small or no nets and 10 lb. test line when fishing for muskies. Then when they land a "huge" 36"er, they plop it into the bottom of the boat, overstressing it, and upping the probability of it dying even after it swims away. Wouldn't it be great if anglers had to pass a test to get a "muskie stamp" on their license? Well, we can always dream, right? 🙄 😀
