It's been pretty quiet around here lately. Which doesn't make it the most interesting place to be hanging out for our members.
What do we need to do differently?
Have some kind of contest to win a rod and reel?
Give away a lure every month?

Hi Will, Im still here 🙂 . We are still swamped with lure orders. The Muskie Hub site has been getting a lot of traffic because the lure giveaways and such. But this site is still my main concern. We could maybe do a few more things to pick up the pace around here. Some neat little contest similar to the match fishing event with a prize would be cool. Michelle and I are finally able to fish tomorrow . Its been over a month since we have been on the water. I cant decide where to go. I want to take a crack at Skegemog but the drive versus the numbers for one day. I think we will hit Austin for half the day as there have been some good reports from there in the last few days. We are going to take 5 days on St. Clair in October but that will about do it for us except for the Ice up Challunge and maybe a day in December on Murray. Mike
I know you can't see but I do have my hand raised, present. I usually check the site every day or every other day. What can we do to liven things up, OH! I know, there is a old saying, don't poke a sleeping bear! Well, Kid how many player from UM are facing court charges? I hate to EXPOSE this!!!!! Steve
Kid, one guy was in trouble for slapping hisgirfriend (domestic violence). He got off cause she changed her mind and said it didn't happen, shouldn't she get it for filing a false police report? The other guy exposed himself and was kicked off the team. Don't know what happened to him in court. I guess they are taking a page out of states playbook on doing stupid stuff. But not as dumb as Michael Vick. Hope after his jail sentenance they make him work in a animal shelter for a year and donate 5 mil to the humane society. Steve
I'm still checking in from time to time, but helping to remodel my daughter & son-in-laws house, & with a new grand daughter (my first)……..I know, no excuse, I still have some time to get out before the water freezes.
By the way, bow season is right around the corner. I saw two nice bucks last week north of Lowell, I'm guessing both were 10-12 points. Something I figure would be equivelent to a 50" plus muskie.
Did I mention before not having enough time to fish?

Boat hits the water every 50 or so checks on this site. Planning on getting more involved in the future. Finishing off 1100 sq of house and baby two is due Oct. 11 ( I know what kind of idiot would time the baby around the tale end of Salmon, middle of bow, and my personal favorite month for the skies……..me, I'm the idiot…still blame the wife though.) Shoot me now! Serenity now!!!!
