Thought we should have a topic like we have in years past of updated water temps if people hear any reports of our lakes across the state.
Should be helpful especially with a match day for those of us participating in it.
I have current temps I heard yesterday on the following lakes.
Feel free to post updates if anyone has them.. I fish mostly local so doesn't look like I'll be out much for a while unless we get some cooler weather.
Bankson : 86
Macatawa : as of 7/27 the main basin was 80, could be higher over the next couple days. It has heated up quick in the last couple weeks.
SCR 72-76
Middle of ST clair 74-78
Tahq river 71-78 depending on where on river
Lower Muskegon river 74-76
Big Manistee river 74-76
Munscong/Raber 62-72
Ontonagon river 70-76
Muskegon lake pier heads/channel/main lake basin 72-78
This is stuff with muskies I would fish without hesitation, as has been said many other waters are very hot right now.
