MMA has just reserved five cabins at Cedars Resort on Benway Lake. Each cabin can comfortably sleep four (two bedrooms and a sofabed in the living room). Find three friends and/or MMA members and get in on this great opportunity.
The idea is to make learning the water and SHARING information an integral part of the trip. The plan is to fish Friday, Saturday and Sunday AM. The learning/sharing will take place at Cedars on Friday night then again at lunch on Saturday and once again on Saturday night. Food is on your own (cook your own or in Central Lake).
Cost: $75 non-refundable deposit (paid to MMA) will hold your cabin. The cost for the weekend is $90/night per cabin which will be paid to Cedars that weekend.

I'm very interested in this, but would have a lot of details to workout. Ill try to talk to other vkop members to come and then it would be easy, but most likely it would just be me. If its just me I would have to get a spot a cabin with other guys and would have to get in someone's boat. Thats not asking too much, is it? 😀
Cool- Right now there are three cabins tentatively spoken for (including Walt) They sleep 4 at $90 a night so if some of you single s hook up the price goes down, 4 different guys = $45 each for two nights lodging and a short walk to your boat. I REALLY like Cedars it is comfortable and it gives you that "woodsy trip" feel staying there.

I don't think it's a probelm with someone showing up around the fire each evening. As Kevin mentioned it might be possible to get in on one of the cabins with only a couple people in it too.
One, two and three are full, That is Team Bear claw under the leadership of "Taquito the Magnificent", Team Schultz led by "Big Bass Slayer" and Team Clinasmith Led by "Walt the Wandering Musky Master" Whether or not Scott "Superfish" Williams would like to offer the other beds is up to him. Potentially there are 6 beds left. I would encourage anyone interested to plan now!!

Just got ahold of my uncle from Georgia, he's all for it [smilie=2thumbsup.gif] . Since we're a couple old geezers [smilie=grandpa.gif] , I don't think we can keep up with you younguns, Scott. So, I guess we'll take the last cabin. We're willing to take on a roomy or two, tho. Really had fun last year, and lookin forward to this year. [smilie=nice.gif]
