I saw that too Steve- I don't know what the 'regionalization plan' was that apparently failed, but it sounds like Muskies Inc. just wants to increase participation in the organization. And the vote they are asking for just allows for more opportunity for participation in the Board of Directors meetings, decisions, etc. That's what I got from it
My read was that a "yes" vote means you want the Board meetings to be comprised of:
- All Board Members
All Regional Directors
One representative from EACH Chapter
The last one, having a representative from each chapter, is what the vote is on. Right now, Board meetings do not include chapter reps. It's not clear to me who would pay travel expenses… maybe they'll do e-meetings.
