for those of you staying at yettaws here is directions from GR. its really pretty simple. the last couple turns, like waters street… is c-48, so follow those signs from east jordan to ellsworth and your good. we are staying at the house by the road.

Hey I'm pretty sure ill make it but I have family ties there… Makes it nice for lodging and borrowing a boat but i might not ho as much as the rest of you. but I'm fishing solo on lakes I've never fished lol… Is their anyone dying to go and isn't going due to money or travel???? I honestly know mike and Michelle and have maybe talked to a couple of you but for the most part I know none of you apart from what I've read and seen. I know that there is no itinerary but my number is 269-209-7526 and I have a working phone now! The last died at the boat launch lol. Anyways I know it's really a short notice but it is what it is. I'm excited to fish and hopefully meet some of you in person. Anyone can get ahold of me that isn't going because of something stupid like lodging and next year hopefully I could arrange more places my girls family is amazing and would let any of my friends stay their.. It's not a holiday inn but its close to the water and free! Please let me know where any bonfires will take place and a number of one of you so I can get directions. I'm so excited I did not think that I could go with my work schedule but I have the days off and I'm sharpening up my hooks 😀

Is there a place at Thurston to tie up boats on the water for this, or would it be better to trailer the boat?
Unless they added rocks to the shoreline since mid-summer there is plenty of room to beach boats.
Thanks everyone for coming up! It sounds like it was a successful trip for quite a few of us. Shorts was awesome, with surprisingly good pizza, and the cookout had a good turnout as well. I think I counted 17 at Thurston Park. Sadly we were forced to listen to the atrocity that was the UM game on the radio, and a few of us may have not been very good company 
I had a fairly successful trip moving a lot of fish. A few eaters that didn't get hooks, and a biggun' that showed herself, but didn't commit. In all I got about a dozen waypoints I didn't have before, and for that place those can be valuable commodities. Once again I was amazed at how ferociously a musky can eat and not get stuck… but of course you can gingerly reach in your box and pull out 3 lures your not holding on to.
I hope some others put up pics, and reports too.
