What happened to Spring? 64 inches of snow South of Houghton! -1 degree on April 8th at Marquette's weather station! First time I've seen the ice go out completely on a 10,000 acre lake and then have 'unsafe ice' for ice fisherman only a week later. Only one month, two days, three inches of ice, and 18 inches of snow pack until UP opener!!!
I think Algore got the idea of being the Pied Piper for THIS ROUND of cyclical global warming when he pondered the fact (some real scientist told him) that earth's ICE AGE left when things globally warmed up MILLIONS of years ago. Since the MoveOn.org crowd doesn't have a life and Algore needs more love (replaces the lack of votes) this seemed like the best strategy to get the attention of the decidedly today oriented society which doesn't know or believe actual history anyway.
Hey DU, maybe this frustrating weather pattern that you mentioned for us fishermen with re-ice ups hitting some lakes really means the Ice Age is coming "again". Hope not!
