That is just crazy! I've never heard of anything like that. And one guy said he heard of a boat releasing 60. Sorry, Kingfisher. You were my hero with your Lower Crooked day until now! [smilie=biggrin.gif]

it is just ridiculous but it is a charter boat with clients so if they have ten people on board they can put 30 rods out which ups the odds a little bit.

Wow that is just amazing. He opens his own guide service and the first legal day he puts 45 muskies in the boat….no wonder he thanked God. The other post is almost as good with the 5' fish that got released.

lol 30 rods out? How big is this boat…

unless you were being sarcastic.

I don't know how rough st clair gets, but i would imagine on a rough day that could lead to a headache of a day with lines getting tangled

Exaggerating a little bit but I'm sure they still had a lot of lures in the water.

Canadian waters you are allowed 2 per man. With even 8 on board 16 rods would be the max. Most likely running 12 total 4 per side on the boards with two down rods and two out or prop wash so you only have to clear two on one side and you are free to land the fish. I run up to 12 rods in Michigan waters with 4 on the boat no problem at all. Michelle and I run 6 on the jon boat and could run 8 easy. Mike and Michelle
