This is a short one! anyone with traxstech mounts out there. I have seen the salty rod holders on the taller bases. questions are why? advantages? I got the rest of the stuff thrown in with my boat because of some hassles [smilie=brows.gif] and want to add a couple of those. thanks!

I use my taller base Salties on my traxtech mounts for my rear rods, and they work better for a downrod.

Love em' they are secure and most of all don't break. They are pricey but worth it IMO. Plus with the Salty's you can position them up down and all around for multiple purpose fishing.

I have 4 of the raised s-10 salty double clampers. Love them/ Versatile, tough and I can slide them out an store them in the rear lockers on each side of my boat. Awesome stuff. Mike

I have 3, S-17 Salty's (flat, square base) to sell you if you go this route and are interested. There just sitting in my garage, waiting for their next stage of life, so I ll let them go cheap!
