I know this question was asked at the meeting on Apr 6 and I finally got around to looking at the data-

Q: Did fish from 2004 use the same home ranges in 2005?

A: I had three of 8 fish change home ranges between the two years. All three were males- two were small males (25" and 27" in 2004, Age 4 in 2004) the third male was larger and older- 36" in 2004 and age 7.

Also interesting is that male and female fish used different parts of the lake. I found a statistical relationship between sex and location in the lake. Females used the east end of the lake more. By statistically significant, I mean that there is less than a 1% chance that what I observed happed at random- there is some reason that the females chose the eastern end. Now I need to find out what that reason is!

Most of the potential spawning habitat is located on the east side. Food source from incoming river and creeks and current are just a few.

I was thinking the same things- I just cannot show it statistically-
