To all my MMA brothers that have helped me with LSC. ( you know who you are, I was relentless for knowledge ) We went to the Anglers Point Tourney and went 5-7 on day one. Largest fish 46.75, my new PB. Others averaged one fish per boat but nothing over 40. We took first and second on day one. Partner had a 40.5. Third place was a 39 so that gives us almost an 8" lead for overall.
For all the Schram fans. Sorry, I think he zeroed on day one. His partner, a bass guide, I believe caught a muskie though. There was controversy of course. I couldn't have Schram and the word controversy NOT in the same paragraph now could I? LOL.
Anyways, Thanks again TO ALL OF YOU who have given me any tidbits of info on this great body of water. I hope we finish strong tomorrow and represent ch. 47 well!

Chad, not exactly sure on either question but I think there were 14 guys. As for fish, we went 7 for 9 between the two days. I think 3 was the average for the other boats. Not exactly positive on that though. Thanks for the congrats. Hopefully it's a tourney that could grow. It was fun fishing like that for two days!
Good Job on the Win. You guys made a good move by Jiggin. it wasnt the best casting bite..There were 14 guys and 16 fish caught with half of them caught Jiggin… We got 3 and lost a 46-47 on sunday at the net. Lookin forward to next year. hope to see more guys in it..
Oh and.. yea Schram spend some time pukin over the side of his boat on Saturday. I will check out my Go Pro later today to see how good of footage I got. lol
