Should be just slight taps on the rod to make it go side-to-side. It is pretty easy to over work a lot of the smaller glide baits so maybe that is what is happening.

It isn't a wide glide, like J said just tap it. It is one of the best speed glides out there. To get a feel for how it should look when worked correctly cast it out and reel it back fairly fast, in fact, you can catch fish on it that way too.

Whatever you do, don't sell it to Will for $5!
