I've contacted them (Sportsmen's Connection) about a number of lakes with wrong information. That info about Murray is wrong as Dale already said.
I tell ya, some of the Sportsman's Connection data is pretty dang hilarious. A lot of the lakes we fish are so misrepresented it makes you anticipate a line about the top notch tarpon fishing in Higgins or something. We just crack up reading most of it…always wondered where the heck the info came from. In some cases its just a lack of attention to detail and editing (like the erroneous stocking AND survey data), but other stuff sounds like the author, who I heard is actually a really good guy, asked my 2 year old to convey her thoughts on the status Titt chain smallmouths!
And Dale, I need to see pics of that 44" tiger!!!!
