Wonder what they got today. So far 23? What do you guy's think? Not as many in there. Or I'll quote Dr. John "Must have been the right place, but the wrong time"!! So whatever they get today and Monday, that's it?
Steve,
4 today ( Friday ) as I posted earlier. two males – two females. 34" – 38".
So 23 total as of today and what ever they pull on Monday.
I'll bet they're pulling their hair out. Will be interested to see what happens on Monday with the warming water.
I think I have a solution for the damn dams. Just need to find a university and a student to take on the challenge! The dam was never an issue at Hudson always lots of fish there. If I recall they had days of 80+ fish during the NMUS egg take.
I guess Steve's effort to tell the fish to avoid the nets worked!!!
I think the overflow at Hudson is a problem. When I was down there Monday you could see debris was up 10' on shore. I've seen the dock under water 4 times. A few years back they had a 6 to 7 inch rainfall and it was a mess. Nobody has asked how did the fish do on the re-location ride to Orchard? Sara Thomas seems like a nice person, I don't think she likes me (nothing unusual). I don't think I'm going anywhere with her on the 50" size limit, or maybe catch and release only. Or bringing up the overflow issue. As far as the Muskies listening to me, nobody does, it's Blah,Blah,Blah!!! Now if I could only get the wife to listen to me, OH BOY your in TROUBLE!! 🙄

So is the transfer of the Hudson fish still going down? Doesn't seem worth it for 23 fish. And were multiple trips all the way to orchard done with fish from different days? Seems like a waste of Human Resources and $$$$$$.
I'll bet they thought they would be done by Friday for sure. That would have been ok. My guess is that if they don't get a bunch on Monday they'll pull the plug.
