Anyone been to thorn lately? Thinking about heading there this weekend and am wondering what the temps are and what the clarity is. Thanks in advance for the info.

I was there two weekends ago. Water was in the 59-62° range, dark stained with 3'-6' visibility.

The river quadrupled its flow from all the rain, not sure how much that effects the lake but I would think its gonna be significantly dirtier if not a complete mess.

I was thinking the same thing and don't want to drive out there to find the visibility is 0. No one has an update for me??

Not only visibility, but I wonder if the DNR launch is even usable if the river is up.

Try PMing Chris Barton…

I wouldn't even think about it. Just came back from drive to and from Kalamazoo and all rivers and creeks were above the bank and chocolate milk.

Well looks like I will be heading somewhere else then and saving thorn for another time. Thanks for all the info!

Ovid's parking lot is still dirt, but they say it'll be open this weekend. Use the Shepherdsville Road entrance, if you go.

Any update on the lake?? Might check it out this weekend if it's not too dirty.
