I have opinions on the matter, but will forgo that to point out this clearly kept/killed Musky that is in my eyes clearly not legal size.

I thought your second post was respectful and spot on.
Preservation, restoration, EDUCATION.
As anglers become more educated about muskies the preservation and restoration will come. I just started muskie fishing last year and have learned a ton about the fish that was eye opening. The more I learn the more I see and understand the importance of cautious handling among other things. I have no doubt most anglers care about the fisheries and want to do the right thing. Respectfully educating them of proper handling, equipment selection and fishing waters with a safe temperature for the fish will go a long way in preserving this fragile resource.
