The question is, how many weeks of that does it take to melt 20 inches of ice?

20 inches? we got three feet here. I just did my 10 day forecast for twin lake and I dont see an end to nights in the teens for the next 10 days. February is refusing to yield to March.

A Fuzzy Duzzit through a hole in the ice on April 26th could be the ticket.

I wasn't talking about our lakes as there is no chance they will be thawed by the 15th when the season closes. I was referring to the Indiana lakes that Jim previously posted having 18-20" of ice a few weeks back.

Last night I had a dream that I secretly knew of a lake with open water that I could hit on my way down to the banquet. It was a rough morning to wake up…

Torch river is accessible now. Stopped down there this morning and chopped all the ice away from the launch with intentions of returning with the river boat but the wind kicked up as soon as I finished. Guess I'll give it a day to calm down.
