Well W e were planning on heading to the Chain but weather up there looks pretty bad for sunday and storms on saturday so we decided to return to Hudson. Its been 5 years since we fished it and am excited about going back down there for couple days. Hot (80) degrees and sunny for Saturday with Fronts rolling in all day sunday . Could be great. Ill be seeing Ed and steve on the water anyone else going to be there this weekend? I booked a room at Quigleys bed and breakfast. Michelle and I will be in the little Jon Boat with Fisher Price the BELGIAN MUSKY HOUND. We will see you guys there, Mike and Michelle

Hi guys,

I am going to try and make it there Saturday afternoon after soccer, lacrosse and the annual kid's trout derby. I will have my 7 year old son with me so I am not sure how productive I will be but it will be nice to just get out.

Hi Guys,

I'm fairly new to MMA and probably going to make it out to Hudson this weekend as well. I'll probably just try and fish from shore if possible so if you guys know of any areas around the lake that I might have a chance from shore that'd be great. Hudson is a new lake to me and with such a busy weekend for me I might just leave the boat at home. I know, I know, stupid idea but family activities might cut down my fishing time. Being new to MMA I've never met any of you but look forward to doing so! Good luck and I hope all of you have a successful and safe opener.

Scott, try in front of the beach area and all along the shore around all sides of the boat launch. There have been some hogs caught right off the dock. Over by the dam is another spot where you can fish from shore. Also try the upper end . They just added a new section a few years back and that is very fishable from the bank. Just make sure you have pliars and hook cutters, net etc. Maybe even use hip boots. Dont drag one up on bank. you can use a net like big pen even on shore. Good luck. Michelle and I will stop and say hello if we see you. We will be in a small olive green Sea Ark flat bottom with a 9.9 merc on it. We have a small white dog as well. Mike and Michelle

Kingfisher-

Thanks so much for all the advice! Yes, I have everything for landing muskie safely. I have a big stowmaster muskie net along with bolt cutters, pliers etc… I'd never pull one ashore!! I'd get in the water if I had too to make sure there taking care of properly! Thanks again and good luck!!
